Losing faith.

When this book first came out, I was one of it’s biggest supporters/defenders. James Robinson has always been something of a hero of mine when it comes to long story arcs and great characters. But lately, I’m leaning towards the naysayer’s who rip this book to shreds.

For a main villain, we’ve hardly seen Promethus. Batwoman, who was advertised on the cover of the first issue finally gets around to showing up in issue 5 of 7, and I have to admit, the art when it comes to women really isn’t helping the book’s case. I just want something coherent to happen, and by this issue’s end I just threw up my hands and said “whatever” And the cover? Yeah, doesn’t happen in this issue.

Not even the short text pieces Robinson’s been throwing in was all that great. It barely focused on Captain Marvel jr.

I want this book to do well, it’s just, they’re not giving me a lot to run with here.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 3 - Good
