This was boring. We have seen the Darkseid coming to earth story so many times. There is nothing new with the league or darkseid.

    You may have seen this a bunch of times, but the new 52 relaunch is designed to be accessible to new or lapsed readers. If you’ve been reading JLA since 1970 then, yes this can seem played out. But you have to imagine that this is a first encounter story.
