Geoff Johns, you wily fox, you did it to me again! Just when I thought I was gearing up for another decompressed story that would take 15 issues to get the team together, you and Jim Lee drop this bomb in my world and totally change up the game. After the first two issues sort of felt meandering, I felt like this issue was tight and packed. We first start off with meeting Wonder Woman and by the end of the issue we see a majority of the band together. Throw in some crazy action scenes with some epic panels from Jim Lee, and you have just the right recipe to get my comic book taste bud salivating. Like they mentioned on the show last week, I’ve been on sort of a fun comics kick, and this comic totally scratched that itch. It’s not the deepest book, but damn was this issue a ton of fun to read. Totally looking forward to the coming of Darkseid and his eventual ass kicking.
