I thought this was just great. Not quite enough for pick of the week,
but it’s a great start. I was surprised to find myself enjoying the
stuff in the mundane world a lot more than the stuff in the cosmic
world. Brunswick has a knack for the kind of small personal moments, than make characters instantly compelling. McDaid’s brilliant art manages to be highly Kirbyesque and at the same time entirely it’s own animal. This could easily end up being the next really great image series.
