Vertigo or not, a book about an angsty zombie who totally doesn’t want to eat brains, but has to avenge the murder of a guy whose brain she eats sounds like one of those “good in theory, but probably not for me” comics.  But I love Mike Allred’s art, and Chris Roberson’s “From Fabletown With Love” has been better than the series it spun out of (Fables).

While I did have a few Why Am I Reading This? Moments, it’s a fun little story, and I’m curious to see what tack it will take in the next issue.

All I can really say about it is that it’s $1 for some cool Allred art, and a story with a lot of potential.  Check it out.
