Okay the opening to this issue was absolutely perfect.
The way that the Plutonian condescended to everyone was great and I think my favorite moment was when he just offhandedly told the guy that it was cancer. I loved the montage of people being forced to listen to what he says. And I love the fact that he knew about so many different and varied ways people were talking about him. He's like that kid from the Twilight Zone that could wish you back to the cornfield, only worse.
As for the rest of the issue, I enjoy how this series is mostly reaction shots to how utterly screwed the rest of the heroes are compared to the power that "Tony" can bring down to bear on them. It just seems so hopeless. The fact Tony killed the Batman Analog at the start of the series gives me absolutely no hope.
I knew there had to be something with the whole Bette Noir thing and I'm glad it was revealed this issue.
I think Volt is probably my favorite character in the whole series now, just because of how little shit he'll take. It was great how he felt his powers were cliche. It was a good amalgam of Luke Cage and Black Lightening.
The art is perfect for the series and the way he slowly figured out he was being watched was skillfully done.
