Seeing as how Iron Man is my favorite super-hero, I grabbed this title up in a second. It was the first thing i read, and I'm having mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it's a solid story. It flows at a decent pace, the characters are all well-written, and I'm curious to see where it is going. However, it also had a sense of "been there, done that." Stark Tech was stolen and used by evil terrorists to kill innocent people. Hasn't this story been told over and over? The art was neither a draw nor a detraction. While there wasn't really anything wrong with it, there wasn't anything that blew me away, either. I did like how Iron man's HUD was worked into the panels. That was a nice touch. All things considered, this was a decent read, but i expected more from a first issue of a monthly series featuring a character who is about to have a major summer blockbuster movie open. This title should have been a home run, but instead it was just a double.
