I was happily surprised by this book.  You’d think the combination of Iron Man and Phoenix is an instant turn-off, and the title, “Iron Age” sounds like Iron Man in the 1800’s, steam-punk style.  But what I got instead was an interesting Iron Man villain with a time machine and a cool idea.

Looking back, I wish I had bought this instead of putting it back on the shelf, especially compared with so many other 3/5’s I bought instead, but hindsight is 20/20.

It’s really much better than it sounds and looks.  Give it a try, you might just be as surprised as I was…
