I am not sure why, but Fraction’s writing kind of bores me. I liked Iron Man Annual, but didn’t enjoy this.

I respect him as a writer, and acknowledge that he is skilled. He did a great job of interweaving three different story lines with three different artists, but in the end, I was bored. I liked most of the art, except in Laroca’s art, Tony looks different from page to page.

All in all, this issue was skillfully executed and extremely boring, like a merchant and ivory flick.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good

  1. Yikes

I’m glad they used the artist from the annual for this. It gives the book even more consistency.

    Thanks for the review.
