Excellent. I had no idea where this story was going to go after the Viltrumite War, but as usual, Kirkman has pulled it off. I loved Mark and Oliver's struggle in the atmosphere even though it was pretty obvious that one of them was going to get blasted with the virus. I didn't really expect it to be mark, but once again proves Kirkman's willingness to kill his main characters. Kirkman has crafted a brilliant universe in Invincible and for a while, I've felt like he was grooming it to be handed over to other creators after the Viltrumite War and this issue kinda clinches it. I predict that he'll be off the series sooner rather than later. As with ever other issue of this truly remarkable series, this one is superb.
