This issue isn’t even really about Invincible. Good, bad, or just plain interesting, its the truth. Mark is maturing. He is seeing the value in working towards greater good and the Guardians of the Globe seem to be on top of their game, no longer needing Invincible to be involved in their day to day operations.

While the government’s well oiled super team (The Guardians of the Globe) are really hitting their stride, Robot and Monster Girl are falling to pieces, reacquainting themselves to the ways of humankind.

Overall, the number of stories interweaving in this issue is very impressive and clearly laid out. While the art seemed to slightly lack in this issue (mostly the color), it was great to see the Invincible series get back to the matter consequences resulting from certain character’s actions.

I feel like things are about to ramp up again and I can’t wait for the next issue.
