Any self-assuming corporate big wig upon entering his office would normally call his assistant and ask for his daily doze of the stock market reports. That’s not me. I would ask my assitant for my weekly doze of jump-in comics and what does she give me? A final issue of a book. All right, i’ll give it a shot. The story seem to be relateble. I can follow instantly what was happening. (it helped that i read irredeemable) I was a bit annoyed at the ridiculousness of the hero/villain names but i think it was played to be satirized in a way of the story. I guess i need to read the other 29 issues to find out. Another thing i noticed is how expositiony this issue was and i applaud the artist for making the panels interesting despite its dialogue heavy nature. This probably isn’t the climax of the story. There might be some nice pay-offs in the last 3 pages of this book as it really looks like payoff panels to me, so i guess this really is more for the fans than the casual reader. My assistant probably has a few days left as well if she keeps giving me these kinds of books. With NO pay-off even.
