What I like best about Incoruptible thus far is the mixture of boredom and pragmatism that Max Damage seems to bring to being a superhero.  The Plutonian has gone mad and the world is in chaos, so for Max Damage that means it’s time to give up crime and be the hero that the world needs.  This isn’t a decision he struggles with at all, nor is it affected in any way shape or form by the opinion of anyone around him.  The cops don’t believe he’s really turned good, nor do the people he tries to help, but that doesn’t matter.  Stopping crime is what Max Damage does now and nothing will stop him from doing that. Not the cops, not his former partner in crime/ current begrudging partner in crime-fighting Jailbait, and not The Plutonian.

And this isn’t meant to sound like Max Damage is some swaggering sneering tough-guy. Max is the futhest possible extreme of that cliche.  He’s indestructible.  He doesn’t have to act tough or theaten anyone.  Max will do what he wants when he wants, and he’s so confident in this opinion, that he seems almost bored by everything he does.  He’s in a lot of ways the polar opposite of The Plutonian, who was so affected by the opinion of othes that he went mad from the burden.  Max Damage doesn’t seem to worry or care about anything.  He’s accustomed to not being able to be hurt and not being able to be stopped. I’m excited to see what happens when he and The Plutonian finally cross paths.
