Man, I really can't believe how much I'm loving this series, even after
Bru left it.
Ignoring the fact that little Danny was playing with a spiderman toy, any issue I had with this installment was relatively minor.
I can't say I like how the artist drew young Danny. The shadow/shading on his face looked like a finger print.
Hydra seemed comically one minded instead of intimidating.
Still I did love the fight scene a lot, especially the entrance of Misty and the speedy exit.
I cannot describe how awesome the scene with Luke and Danny in the bar was. Little things like that make me smile and keep me coming back to this book.
I actually really liked the Chinese food scene a lot. This is one of those quiet books I really enjoy as it's incredibly solid and builds up its mythos on one interesting story after another.
And the idea of Jason Aaron writing the Immortal weapon book fills me with girlish glee.
