Who says, humor and vampires don’t mix. It worked for Buffy and it works damn well for me. As soon as I read the words “Zombie vampire vampire hunters” I knew that this was going to be a fun read. And it was! All kinds of stakes were raised as the battle between the Helsing cult and the gang duke it out in a supernatural free for all. The appearance of Stormwatch did get an eye roll from me when I first read the solicit, but it was actually enjoyable once the story progressed. It almost made me want to go back to reading Stormwatch, almost. This title has been a welcomed surprise to my pull-list. Reading this series is like re-watching my favorite episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. In fact I will just as soon as recommend picking this up.
