Jeff Parker keeps chugging along, setting a month-to-month level of competence that is hard to match. This isn’t a dynamite book (though paradoxically, there are a great many explosions here), but the art is clean and craftsman-like, thanks to Patrick Zircher doing his best impression of Gabriel Hardman. With Parker digging in the crates for classic Hulk villains these days, it was only matter of time because he got to Zzzax — and that he crossed the baddie with M.O.D.O.K. was all the more delicious. I’d prefer Hardman was still working on this book, but the fill-ins have been more than acceptable.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
