Hulk is one of the only books where the .1 issue actually WAS a great jumping on point AND continued the previous story without spinning wheels. This picks up right where that left off.
Hardman is knocking it out of the park. His Hulk is bulk; heavy, powerful, worlds away from the 90's PITT style ultra rippled 26 pack Hulk of yore but ultimately a lot more realistic. This is a Hulk you can actually imagine walking around. Carrying on from Atlas, B-Breit is probably the most auteur-ish colorist working today, you simply can't imagine this art pigmented by anyone else.
Ross has got himself into a pickle facing one of his old hulk busting protegés. I love the code of honor that Parker is working with here. It reminds me of the scene in Kill Bill where Michael Madsen is told The Bride is coming for him and he says "She deserves her revenge... and we deserve to die."
Rulk believes in the warrior honor system and knows his former pupil needs the satisfaction of avenging his mentor's death while also being aware that finding out T-Ro is the Rulk would shatter yon military dude's brain and his own service record.
This Hulk is really cookin'.
(Not to mention the BBQ scene which made me hungry and want to eat ribs.)

Oh yeah and A-Bomb wants to hook up with a futuretime she-hulk.
