Let me say plainly: If hopping across universes is your "thing", then Higher Earth is for you! This title is Fringe meets John Carter...except without Mars or a crazy mad scientist (as of #4, at least). Spoilers ahead... This issue really begins to tie together the events of #1 & #2....as Rex lays dying from his wounds received last issue, he and Heidi meet within Koothka's mind (Koothka is a raven/crow). Rex then shows Heidi the layout of the Higher Earth Empire and asks for her help in bringing it down. It is the one who appears to help Rex persuade her that is the real shocker.....it's her!
