My only complaint with this issue is that this miniseries could have been 4 issues of Incredible Hercules. Despite this minor complaint from a long time Herc fan, it is smart to take this miniseries approach because it could potentially bring new readers into this phenomenal series. This series mixes comedy, action, myth, and superhero adventures into a hell of ride. In this issue the hero Amadeus Cho adjusts to taking over the Olympus corporation and becoming the new prince of power. Not surprisingly Amadeus still has not accepted that his buddy Herc is gone and is doing everything he can to find Hercules in the Marvel mulitverse. In contrast to other recent characters we all knew were coming back, Steve and Bruce, Herc returning feels natural and true to the overall feeling of the series and the character. This concept alone would be exciting but the fact that the end of this issue teases a Thor and Amadeus battle and likely a team up, makes this issue an even better first issue. The art as always matches the tone of the writing and provides the fun and excitement that the book exudes with every page. The fact is that this issue shows how great Incredible Hercules is and that anyone who is not reading it should address this mistake quickly.
