Okay, okay, maybe this series doesn’t have all the promised characters from the get-go, but this was a very good issue. What we do have is Misty Knight playing dispatch for all the New York street-based super heroes. Kind of like a Marvel version of Oracle. It’s not the most original first issue ever, but what it does have is well drawn and choreographed action. The action in this issue is kinetic in a way that most comics really aren’t. It has great art by Brad Walker and the colors are rich and vibrant. The story is a bit talky and I found myself wondering if Moon Knight can really talk that much while throwing people around. But in the end that doesn’t really detract from the enjoyment of this comic. And the last splash page will make you want to stick around for #2. Really.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
