Hellboy: This is your life.

This issue was a lot easier to follow than its predecessor, and was a relatively straight-forward look at where Hellboy comes from and where he’s destined to go. As the title states, Hellboy is in Hell, and the reader gets to follows along as our hero gets a guided tour of his birthplace, along with a brief recap of his family history. As an on again/off again follower of the comics, I found the issue to be a welcome refresher.

Mignola is still doing the interiors, so far fans of his art, this is as good as it gets. The man has a singular style. NO ONE can do Hellboy like he can.

Some interesting possibilities are laid out in this issue. I look forward to seeing if they pay off.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
