Diggle and Milligan has slowed the pace of the Hellblazer story line.  It's cool to see John attempting a new relationship and seeing it fail again, but the lost love part is getting a bit tedious.  Also, a rash and a selfish plague doctor?  Seriously?  A major story arc (6-8 issues) with a strong/well developed antagonist is needed to reboot what appears to be a comic that is barely treading water.  I would rate Milligans work thus far at an average of 60%, with a sort of a milksop start.  Standing on the shoulders of great writers like Ennis, Ellis, Carey, and Jenkins...Milligan has dropped the ball.  Those of you trying to pinch those penny's may want to drop this line until Milligan's done or a stronger story arc is developed.  Long time Hellblazer collectors, like me...just disregard this review. Complete collection is god!
