FIRST PULL. This is my very first Haunt issue and I loved it. I’ve been looking forward to getting this since I’m a huge Spawn fan, and I love Todd’s and Capullo’s work through out their run on that series.

As anyone could expect, the artwork is just great. It does resemble a lot of what he did in Spawn, but that’s just what i was expecting.

As far as the story goes, i loved it. It is a strange issue to try to pick up on the story, I don’t know a lot about the character and he doesn’t really appear in this book. Still i can’t wait to pick up the next book to get a better understanding of the characters.

TWO THUMBS UP

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

Comments

  1. I’ve loved this story all along, but this was a slow issue. I my book, that doesn’t mean it is a 3, though.

A new creative team takes this book over on issue #19 and they’re promising a “new direction” … ugh … time to jump off …
