This issue was a fantastic addition to the growing saga of War of the Kings. I've been impressed by how thought out this whole story has been. I think it is clear that the best way to hold an event is to have a single writing team do every book. I love that Chrystal is consistently portrayed as the only logically functioning inhuman. I love that the shi'ar see Knowhere as a military asset. I love that this tie-in is actually affecting the overall story, while continuing the story threads that were being laid before the crossover even began.
Along the way every single character of a very large cast gets their own moment to shine. My favorite being the interaction between Lockjaw and Cosmo.
You don't really notice the art while your reading it because it fits so well that you just get absorbed into the story. I had to go back to admire the really well thought out fight sequences and the wonderfully distinct characters.
I don't know what this book sells, but I hope it is around for a long time.
