It’s been a while since I read Groo, and I am both happy and sad to report that he is exactly as I left him.  The character hasn’t evolved, it’s simply the same old bumbling Groo, wrecking towns, getting into frays, sinking ships.  It is so familiar in fact, that after the first few pages, I had to make sure I hadn’t read this storyline before.  This issue is also missing some key Groo elements…the minstrel and cheese dip, being at the top of the list.  I guess what I really want is a Groo event book…really shake up the world a little…or Groo in space…
