Man, I’m loving these new GL/GLC teams. I didn’t think GL could feel so fresh and access-able but it is. This series is 22 issues in, but you could go and pick up this and last issue and follow what’s going on with little to no trouble.

Story: John continues chasing the perps from the last issue, and finds out about some of the changes going on at OA, and I can tell him and Hal Jordon are gonna have words sometime soon. I like reading this and GL together because i feel like I’m getting the flip side of a large story, and it all fits together so well.

Art: one of my friends looked at the cover and asked why he looks like Nelson Mandala. Aside from that, the art still has an Anime/Manga feel to it. I don’t find that bad, it’s interesting. I think it’s improved from last issue, but some people might find the faces look awkward.

Overall, another great issue IMO. The writers are still teasing this problem with the power rings plot, and I can’t wait to see where that goes.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good
