Praise Be! The whole Blackest Night/Brightest Day arc ends here at last! The device of freeing Star Sapphire, Atrocitus, Larfleeze et al from the Book of the Dead was more than a little hokey, but there was something rather satisfying about seeing all the different coloured rings flying about only to be commandeered by Krona. Mahnke's art (especially the opening splash page) was lovely - he seems especially good at capturing emotion; Krona's insanity, Sinestro's cunning and Hal's bewilderment at losing his ring were conveyed perfectly. There are some characters who I'll always remain loyal to - Green Lantern is certainly one of those. Quite how I'll feel about a Green Lantern #1 in the new DCU with Sinestro as lead character remains to be seen.
