  1. "Yes, somehow the white entity magically heals Sinestro"

If this is a criticism, I can’t let it slide. The entity is LIFE ITSELF!!!!

An a large portion of the story is told throught the POV of White Lantern Sinestro. ANd much of the rest involves him. So saying the story is about John isn’t very accurate imo.

  2. Sinestro doesn’t do anything in this issue. He provides narration, gets sliced in two, and then basically says oh its on now. The slicing Sinestro in two just isn’t necessary and clearly is only in there  so Johns can ignore him and tell the John Stewart story without everyone asking what Sinestro is doing. I get why the white entity can heal him but it really is a convenient story device that happens right at the end of the issue to correct a lame plot point at the beginning.

  3. My only concern with all this is the collections.  They’re going to come out with a Blackest Night trade and a Blackest Night: Green Lantern trade separately.  I don’t see how the GL one is going to make any sense at all without the main Blackest Night issues, and enough major stuff happened in GL that the reverse is somewhat true as well.
