Okay, Green Lantern number 4.

There’s a lot to love about this book, but the biggest thing is the Hal/Sinestro dynamic.

I don’t know how long Sinestro and Hall will be working together, whether it’s just for this arc or just the first couple or for the forseeable future, and I don’t really care. They play so well off each other, like a good cop show their differences drive the story as much as event will.

When I heard that Hal would be out of the corps in the relaunch I was kind of excited to maybe see that Hal could finally figure out who he was without it, this storyline has been nothing like I expected but at the same time Hal is learning who he is beyond the ring.

Meanwhile, Sinestro is gold. Every moment with him is fantastic and as he’s gone on in the other GL books I think we’ll find out before much longer that the Green Lanterns are going to be glad that he was chosen again.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. Good review. Agreed on all points. This is one of my favorite DC comics.
