I’m really mixed on this issue and the Simon Baz arc. I’ve come around to him as a character but this whole mystery surrounding the bomb in the stolen van seems so small compared to the universe shattering implications the Third Army story. The peek into the whereabouts of Hal and Sinestro was welcome but there’s almost too much going on in this issue. Between that and the Lantern we see in the beginning, there’s a lot of good stuff here. Hopefully some of these side stories will be cleared up or made more compelling. Either way this series needs to gain some focus. Also, intergalactic rodents are always welcome.

  1. Ha ha. “intergalactic rodents are always welcome.”

I’m with you, I like the character alright, but the was too much going on, and the plot was so dumbed down I felt like it was written for a 2nd grader. … And then they were running from monsters. Lame. I’d give it 2/5 story which I never do… Agreed, 4/5 on art.
