Despite the distinct lack of buzz and acclaim, Gotham City Sirens has managed to maintain some steady brilliance over the past few months. This arc in particular has been a pleasure to read, offering up some great moments and character development, complemented by decent artwork. The fact that this arc’s roots are found in the very first issue of the series make it seem almost like a finale; events are finally being wrapped up and in a way that feels both natural and satisfactory. By bringing Zatanna and Talia al Ghul into the equation, the book has increased the intensity and made a more profound impact upon its readers. While not perfect, it serves as light entertainment and shows how good Peter Calloway and Jeremy Haun can be.
