I think it’s kind of a shame more of you aren’t reading this book, but thats not whats important.  I was nervous about this book after the last issue, when Eric Powell Finally got a colorist, and went monthly as the book didn’t really look all that good to me.  I recently heard though that the book came out too dark and that would be fixed for issue 21.  Having said that Dave Stewart did an awesome job, there are fantastic slight color changes and he stays true to Powell’s half pencil have ink style while making it look sharper and adding a less cartoony feel to the book.

In short the **** seems to be close to hitting the fan in this book and I recommend that people pick it up, if not for the story, just to check out the collaboration between Powell and Stewart.

And of coarse this book is hilarious.

  1. I read the first trade and thought it was great. Money permitting someday I should be able to delve into this further.
