STOP THE SEX VAMPIRE (this is not your typical looking or acting vampire either). If this doesn’t intrigue you then this book probably isn’t for you. This is a great jumping on point if you didn’t read the first 3 issues of this series (but I would encourage you to try and find the back issues in addition to picking up this issue) which continues the hilarious adventures of Golly (a carny) and his side-show group of friends as he attempts to fulfill his unlikely mission given to him by a heavenly being, of saving the world. Phil Hester’s script continues to make me laugh out loud while Brook Turners art continues to get better with each issue. My only gripe is that after seeing Brook’s beautiful pencils at a con last year the inks and coloring used do them little justice. If you enjoy Phil Hester’s non-superhero work, carnies, unlikely heros, dark humor or most important good comics that are worth the cover price give this a try.
