Well, the first arc comes to an end and I’m still not quite sure what to think.

I’m impressed, definitely. I’m a fan of the book, and I don’t plan to drop it anytime soon, but it’s just that I feel like we haven’t spent enough time learning about our hero’s power and what it is and what exactly is it that he’s meant to do. I don’t think this would be such a problem if we didn’t have the wait time we do between issues (although to be fair I don’t think it was ever said that the book would be a monthly).

Anyway, this story resolved the first arc of the book, and it was great as usual. I’ve always been impressed how, for a book that has had such a small amount of issues, how well they’ve been able to make each character unique and his/her own person. I think the ending was a little weak, but in the end it did what it was supposed to do.

I’m still not a fan of the art, but perhaps it’ll grow on me.
