When you’re on a business trip with your boss and office pals, there’s this itching in my loins to be sitting back on my trusty desk reading my comics during my downtime. (yes, during my downtime) This week, i was pleasantly surprise to see this book welcome me with an open nuclear-fusion-laced smile to brighten the rest of my week.
Stokoe is stepping it up big-time (and i mean giganticly big-time) with this issue Godzilla as our radioactive megalosaurus takes aim on a different, and equally massive, target. The art on this issue is unrelentingly detailed all the while never confusing in anyway. The colors too are simply fantastic and lends itself to the atmosphere of the whole book and setting. The story is wackily old school, very funny and remarkably fast paced. No big twists. Just straight up setup and pay off. The only thing missing in this book is more drills.
