Well hey! Another great book in the current GI Joe comic renaissance. If you liked GI Joe: Cobra this is a must read. Like Chuckles in that book, Helix is one of General Hawk's "special projects," out in the field and more or less on her own. Lots of cool stuff here: Hawk giving out mysterious orders from his weird, dark briefing room, Duke engaging in some deadly bad-assery that Channing Tatum couldn't even dream of, and Helix herself, who is gifted with mental abilities reminiscent of Marvel's Echo and Michael from Prison Break.

My one complaint is with the pencils. The subdued color palette works great, and I enjoyed Joe Suitor's layouts and composition quite a bit, but unfortunately Duke reminded me of Arseface.
