The first issue of Max Brook’s understated primers on the characters of GI Joe and Cobra excited me enough to go out and buy the other IDW GI Joe comics.  The second issue is just as good.  Both Chaykin and Fuso are in top form, and Brooks gets right to the heart of these characters.  And the last lines are like those horrible “I’m a PC” commercials, except they’re Joes or Cobra, which is infinitely cooler than PCs or Macs.
