Wow wow wow!!!!!! The first story arc concludes with an awesome origin story for Destro. Like every good story told, the seeds were planted for the mystery in issue number 1. Chuck Dixon has crafted a story that includes all the old standards from the original yet feels grounded in current science fiction today. The MASS device, the metal containment suit, the MARS robots all seems very very cool. This book, is on time for the first 6 issues and has the benefit of the other two limited series coming out in between. So GI Joe fanboys like myself are being entertained on a weekly basis. IDW's launch gets a 5 / 5 so far.
