The G.I. Joe story continues in this issue with action in the Pit (Robot Spider Thingy's) and in Castle McCullen. I am a fan of the art, Robert Atkins does a great job with the character faces, the guns and all the awesome vehicles. I especially like his Destro and his Scarlett. The end of this issue is great, and I must say the conversation in issue #1 between Beach Head and Duke really set this up well. Beach Head the lifer, and Duke toss the Fobbit from the A.W.E. Striker and head out into a mine field to follow the last robot spider. It felt intense to me as a reader and I can't wait for the conclusion.
My only gripe; the scottish accents don't feel right at all, and it makes reading the dialogue in those panels a little distracting.
Good Book! Great first story arc!
