Garth Ennis gives us a really strong first issue with art by Adriano Batista. Although the idea is not terribly original (a husband or wife living as secret life as a mercenary/secret agent) it’s the way in which Ennis executes it that makes it a worthy read. Take 1 part Donna Reed add in some Punisher with a pinch of La Femme Nakita and you get Jennifer Blood. Highly recommended.
