Since the Cobra Civil War started, I found myself getting frustrated by the GI Joe books. The shipping was out of whack. The three books were blending together but not in a good way. Some of the characterizations were really off, like Helix. Then I get issue #6 in my hands and I realize that Chuck Dixon is really capable of telling a great story. This book is loaded with content and a lot happens to progress the story. The pacing is perfect, the artwork is top notch and I really felt like I knew what was going on. It had been hard to say things like that in the last couple of issues. Good work, let’s hope this is the new trend and not just a fluke. Looking forward to issue #7 now.
