What really like about this book is that Enis is turning Fury into a characature of the CIA and American involvement in foriegn governments by using a Marvel superhero to make his points. I’m pretty sure this was no easy task, Marvel doesn’t let it’s character’s turn to political comentary very often.

On a personal note, I think that I can stomach this because Enis is Britsh, and I think uses Fury in a subtley tounge and cheeck manner — “Hell, here we are in Guatemala, it was the Agency that saved this place, and you can bet the training teams never got a shot off.” I mean, what other medium would you be able to make these kinds of statments without pissing everyone off (Guetemala, of course, was not saved by the CIA, no one would argue that… except Fury).
