Y’know, I wasn’t really expecting a lot from this book. A little bit of
mindless gore and maybe a few snappy one liners from Ash and I’d be
content, and that’s more or less what I got.

I think the death of Ash’s
girlfriend was pretty gruesome, but we knew she wouldn’t survive the
first issue.

I kind of hope Jason gets a hand next issue, just because
the whole crossover thing from the last series is kind of stupid being
brought in to this so people that are picking it up without getting the
last one will be pretty confused.

 I did like the nods to other movies
though, the Elvis glasses, the movie theater scene, the Alice Cooper
song, just little things for the fan that made the book more enjoyable.

It wasn’t great, but it was fun.
