I really like these series. Jeff Lemire is packing the story with fun ideas. I really like his Frank, and he is developing the supporting characters more than I expected two issues in.

The art is also a lot more to my taste this issue, or maybe I’m just getting used to it. The pages featuring Nina’s flashbacks were almost Lemire-ish.

However the serious greatest strenght is it’s greatest weakness. Packing so many fun ideas into a story, sometimes means the panels are full to capacity, letting no one idea get the full attention it deserves. I’m sure it’ll calm down once the series gets settled, and I’m in for the long haul, because overall this series is nothing but FUN!
