Gates wraps up this miniseries with a love-letter to the whole Flash family continuity. Referencing speedsters from Max Mercury's earliest career through Jay Garrick, Wally West and finally setting up Barry Allen for next weeks' Flashpoint denouement, Bart zips through the Speed Force (which has been mysteriously absent in other Flashpoint books...) with a sense of unalloyed joy that's been missing from the character since he was called Impulse. I even like how Bart remained triumphant despite the heroic sacrifice he makes at the end of the story. Sadly, the art kills this book stone dead; Two different artists with jarring styles. Regrettably for Kid Flash Lost #3, the effect is a book that just looks plain ugly.
