You ever go to a night club and immediately know that it was not your
scene? That all the kids there were more hip than you are and your
interest in being there dropped to down to zero in miliseconds? That's
what this book is. I love Casey on most anything he's done and
Chriscross was awesome on Captain Marvel, but this mixture of JLA and
Japanese pop culture takes this concept and makes it the 00's
equivelant of 90's X-TREEEEEME to me. This book makes me feel the same
way that Final Crisis did as it was coming out. Too much on every page
so I have no connect with any of it. I completely agreed with the old
hero they threw out more than any of the other chracters. I do read a
lot of different types of comics but the only time I felt any thing
other than disinterest was in the fight scene that lasted, what, 2
pages? "But this team is so cool. They have a trophy room filled with
not their trophies." Please. Give me an issue of Superman/Batman over
this tripe.
