Man, this was classic noir. I mean absolutely classic.

It was one
character being played by 6 different sides, thinking he’s gotten ahead
at all when really he’s just dug himself deeper.

It was masterfully
done and had an amazing mixture of visceral sex, violence and
atmosphere. It didn’t feel as hard edged as 100 Bullets, which I think
is to it’s credit for being the same writer and same genre to feel so
different.

The story unfolded a little predictably if you’re familiar
with the tropes, but it was still good.

The art was similar to Tim Sale
and Frank Miller before both of them became overly stylized.
