  1. Ive been pleasantly surprised by this as well. One of my favs.

  2. When I first saw Mike Allred’a artwork I hated it but it has seriously grown on me and I love it.His style is modern day Kirby.

  3. Allred’s style suits and adds to what’s fun and different about this book, his style is perfect for the tone of FF here and it’s hard to tell if his style or the writing has more control over the feel of it, in any case they marriage well. Most ppl aren’t too familiar w what Allred’s most known for and that’s the cult classic series Madman, then you got some Madman and the Atomics, his X-Statix run (I’d recommend if you like this FF) and numerous guest spots like DD #17 recently. His style has a 50’s/60’s pulp to it that’s unique and its cool his wife colors his stuff. Images current IT Girl and the Atomics is from the pages of Madman and a fun book with a feel not so different from this FF.

    • Ya im a big allred fan now.. never read madman but i loved izombie amd xstatic. Great stuff. Glad to see him at marvel. Great complimentary work from his wife as well. Good team.
