Everything is everything and everything is very good…

When word broke that the “Solve Everything” storyline in Fantastic Four was only a 3-parter, like most, I was disappointed. Having finished issue #572 though I see it makes sense. I don’t care how many Reeds you got, the Celestials are not to be trifled with.

In just a few issues Hickman cracked open a window into an enthralling new reality with such fascinating characters that when he shut it you feel the loss and hope that he (and only he) opens it up again. In the wake of this story though Hickman reinforced what’s so great about Reed — OUR Reed — and his relationship with Sue and the rest of the team. I’m looking forward to seeing how he handles Ben & Johnny once they get more of the spotlight in the next story arc.

Art wise Eaglesham’s pencils remain strong and provides plenty of action-packed wow! panels.

While I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone to pick up as a single issue if you can pick up issues 570-572 in one fell swoop, there’s probably no better 3 comics you could read all week.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
