A fun little romp, I enjoyed it from cover to cover. I wonder if that
first page counts as confirmation that it’s original Morph from the
series instead of a new one. It doesn’t really matter in a book like
this, but it’s interesting. I like how easily Blink slides into her
leadership role. I think it’s a major selling point that you see
characters you enjoy but in completely different roles. I really like
the reveal of Black Panther this issue, even if he looks like Ludacris.
I’m pretty sure this version of Beast is a little on the dumb side,
similar to when right before X-Factor became blue again. I’m still
really digging the art. I think it’s just cartoony enough to be fun but
detailed enough to show the action.
